Questions to Ask During Your Interview
It’s the new year and we usually change our jobs or are in the process of looking for a job.
What happens when you have the interview scheduled?
During the interview process, the HR manager is trying to sell you to take the job, and you are trying to sell to the HR manager that you are the perfect hire for the position. And as we all know, we all provide the best answers to every question. Never do you really get the true details of what is happening in the company or the job.
In this episode we are exploring the real questions that will help you know what you are truly walking into.
You most likely will be meeting with an HR Manager, the Hiring Manager, an co-worker and so forth.
You will need different questions for each.
For instance, to the HR Manager you will ask questions about the culture, benefits, and overall state of the company. You will also ask questions that deal with the job description but to an extent. Most likely they will tell you to ask the more detailed questions to the hiring manager.
The Hiring manager is the person who will be making the final decision on who will fill the position. They are the ones that you will work with on a day to day basis and will oversee you.
Although you may ask the same questions to both, it is best that you ask pointed questions to each so that you are able to really get the full picture of the position and the company.
In this PDF you will find the questions to ask for each person, and listen to the episode to find out why.
