So please, please go ahead and provide a review and subscribe to this podcast. So with that being said, let's go back to the topic. So what is this week's topic? Hmm. Well, it's all about hype burn nation. Yep. You heard me. It's about hibernation. And what do I mean by harmonization? Well, In its truest form, hibernation overall is a condition or period of an animal or plant spending the winter in a dormant state.
It also means an extended period of remaining inactive or indoors. I mean, think of, of a bear. Basically prior to winter, they prepare themselves for hibernation season, which means that they're dormant or they're not doing a lot. The only thing that they're doing is eating as much as they possibly can because of their habitation lasting so long.
And then they're spending their time. harnessing their energy, providing to their energy, allowing their energy to be infused in their body. That way their body heals as during the time period of their habitation. And so that way they could also have a better state for when spring comes and now may say, well, I thought hibernation was all about sleeping and actually.
Not necessarily. And hibernation, it's not only about sleeping. It's actually a state where the metabolism is suppressed to less than 5%. Of normal. And it's also when your metabolism is slower, just like we tend to have a slower metabolism during winter. And it also means that animals need to have gentle resting States because they are in an unconscious state or because the fact that they don't have enough energy and that they're trying to build up the energy for spring.
Spring, as you know is a time period where new beginning start and new energy comes in and that's when we are supposed to, in reality, start our planning and executing plans is not during the winter months, winter months are supposed to be a time. When we are in a season of taking care of our bodies, slowing down, eating more healthy, are you verdict meals being more of an indoor state also taking care of our metabolism and listening to ourselves is a time to self care.
That is winter. What winter is supposed to be. And at the same time, it is something that, you know, we have to be very mindful of. And when we're planning our year, we should not be planning our year, the way we are, because that's the reason why we tend to not meet our goals by March. FYI because our body is fighting us on it.
Our body is actually asking us to slow down, to take care of ourselves. That way we can ramp up in March true story. It is something that. I'm proposing to you all. And I, I actually did it. And when I aligned with the seasonality of the environment and of winter of what winter truly is supposed to be.
And what that represents to my body, to my mind, and to my soul. When I tell you it was a game-changer, it was a game-changer. And it was hard for me because I am a very type a personality. I usually do vision board parties. I get all my planning ready to go. By the end of December, I have all these goals and plans.
I have everything set up. But I've learned to now listen to my body, and I've learned now to listen to my surroundings, and it has been so lovely. And honestly, it's been amazing. During this time, I want to ask you, or I want to provide to you questions that you should be asking yourself when it comes to harnessing your hibernation period.
And the first question is how is my body feeling? What is my body telling me, is it telling me to slow down? Is it asking me to read more often? Is it telling me that it's tired of looking at social media or anything in particular? If so that means that your body is starting to become and clicking into the winter months, And the hibernation season.
Your youth system or the justice system may feel a little sluggish or may start to feel sluggish. And that is a sign that your body is asking you to again, take a hibernation period and to slow down, to slow down and to eat more healthy, wholesome food that is easy to digest.
Another question that you should ask yourself is when can I do the hibernation or, better said, when will it work for me, for me, I'm able to easily plan it out and be able to be more structured with it throughout the week. Especially, if you're an entrepreneur, you can actually have more flexibility with your calendar and with how you manage your calendar.
But when you're working, it may be a little bit different. You still have to have this whole experience of producing and providing, even though your body is telling you otherwise. So the question is,
can I do this hibernation during the weekends? And can I set the days? that way, during that set time, I'm able to focus on my hibernation
now, mind you, one of the things that you have to think about the timing is that is preferably to do it for the three months of winter, rather than just for one week. But if one week is the only thing that you have to reset to be able to hibernate them by all means, but then throughout the entire three months ?
Kind of slow down a little bit. Don't do too much. Don't overextend yourself, be able to be gentle with your time and yourself.
Another question for you to ask yourself before the hibernation period is, how am I feeling? How am I feeling?
How are my emotions? Why I feel out of whack?
Am I triggered easily? Am I moody? Am I emotionally unbalanced? And when you ask these questions, you will understand that again, it would be. Basically, highlight the fact that you need a hibernation period when your emotional state is all over the place and you're feeling uneasy or unbalanced, which means you need to reset.
That means that you need to be more aligned with yourself, and you need to take care of yourself a little bit better, and we need to start listening to her.
We need the time without the noise, and that's very important.
Lastly, the question to ask is do I give myself permission to do this? And the answer should be yes, immediately. But of course, that's up to you.
And the reason why I ask. You to ask those questions to yourself is because the minute you answer your question of, if I'm giving myself permission for this, your body would allow yourself to just vegetate, to take care of itself, to self care, to be able to embrace the period of hibernation instead of.
Fighting it and then feeling guilt, because if we don't prepare our bodies for what's to come, even though our body's asking us to do it because we've been conditioned and trained to be on the go go go. Unfortunately, our body will feel that it's on easy or something is not working. Therefore it would fight us on it.
We should ask ourselves. What is it? You know, we should allow ourselves to ask ourselves, do I give myself permission to do this? And the answer immediately should be yes. And you say, yes, I give myself permission to hibernate, and that would give you the freedom that you need to take the aberration state and take care of yourself without feeling unbalanced and restless.
Then it would allow you to start listening to yourself to start listening to your intuition.
It's going to transform you in a way that you will be doing this every year.
For me, I've been doing it for some time now. And. Automatically, I just feel energized. It feels like it's a natural thing that I need to do.
So with this said, I would love to hear your comments or thoughts about this new way of thinking, a new way of seeing the winter months, seeing your energy output during those months, and hibernation.
I would love to hear it. DME on Instagram @ Claramazing.
