How to Audit Your Calendar

Hello Beautiful!

So I’m currently working on launching a self-care challenge and I came across this quote about self-care:

“Until you value yourself, you won't value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it. ”
– M. Scott Peck

And this is so true because we often say as moms, "I don't have time. I have so much on my plate. I need more time."

The reason why we say this often is because we are not valuing ourselves. Valuing is not only about the pampering or the little small acts we take to bring into our life but about valuing our time.

Once we value how precious our time is and then focus on making sure we plan it the way we want and guard it with everything we've got, it's when we start feeling true self-care.

After all, we can only control ourselves and what we do with our time.

We can't control our kids (even though we think we can - they do things because they want to make you happy, not because you have control over them). We can't control our husbands, or our family, friends, jobs and the list goes on.

We can only control "me, myself, and I" and how we spend our time.

And what helps us with valuing our time? A calendar audit.

When we take inventory of how we spend our time, we quickly realize what to eliminate and not include any more.

Here is a video I created that walks you through how to audit your calendar and do it in a way where you self-value yourself.
